PIQUA FIRE DEPARTMENT PENSION FUND
INTRODUCTION
The collection of the Piqua Firemen’s Pension Fund was accessioned into the Flesh Public Library Archives in May of 1998.
The collection contains two Hollinger boxes and seventeen individual folders. This collection focuses on the 1930’s and 1940’s.
There are no restrictions on the use of this collection.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS
The Piqua Firemen’s Pension Fund Collection is divided into four series:
SERIES I: MANUALS – Manuals on pension funds from various other organizations from 1918 to 1944.
SERIES II: LEDGERS – Includes ledger books detailing individual contributions, minutes, and roll calls.
SERIES III: PAYROLLS AND CORRESPONDENCE – Folders contain payroll information for 1929 to1947.
SERIES IV: MISCELLANEOUS – Includes newspaper plates, clippings, and correspondence.
