FORTNIGHTLY CLUB COLLECTION ADDITIONAL
INTRODUCTION
The Fortnightly Club Collection Additional was processed in September 2002 from materials that accumulated over time.
The Fortnightly Club of Piqua, Ohio was a private women’s organization devoted to educational and social entertainment.
The additional collection fills two Hollinger boxes and 38 file folders. It covers the years 1974-1999.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS
The Fortnightly Club Collection Additional is divided into four series:
SERIES I: Minutes: from 1974-1992, 1980-1981 is missing.
SERIES II: Membership Lists: from 1974-1992, 1980-1981 missing.Also included is a membership list from 1996.
SERIES III: Publications: contains various club constitutions from 1934, 1948, 1953, 1970, 1978 and club anniversary books from 1953, 1964 and 1974.
SERIES IV: Miscellaneous: contains the corresponding secretary’s address book, notes, and the treasurer’s account book from 1948-1993.
