Robert Fite

Robert P. Fite (1920-2000) –  Fite was born in Brown County, Ohio and moved to Piqua in 1947

after graduating from the Ohio State University Law School.  In July of 1949, he became associated

 with the firm of Berry, McCulloch and Felger.  Fite was the third generation of his family to practice

law.  He served in World War II as an infantry company commander in the Pacific Theater.  Fite was

very active in government activities including serving on the boards of the YMCA, Red Cross,

Edison State College, the Piqua Memorial Hospital, the Piqua Board of Education, the Piqua Rotary

Club and a founding member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Young Republicans Club.

 Fite was also one of the owners of the Cincinnati Bengals pro-football team.
