Ohio Watercolor Society 43rd Annual Juried Exhibition

Ohio Watercolor Society 43rd Annual Juried Exhibition

The Piqua Public Library is proud to host the 2020 Ohio Watercolor Society 43rd annual juried exhibition. These thirty-one paintings are on display during May in the Rollin Gallery on the second floor of the Piqua Public Library. This annual exhibition is open to Ohio residents and members of Ohio art organizations living in neighboring states. The talented artists featured in the show use watercolor, acrylic, casein, gouache, and egg tempera. This is one of the premier art exhibits in Ohio, with awards of cash and materials totaling thousands of dollars.

A watercolor painting of rolling green hills, a path of stone steps along a stream, and a golden yellow sky. White text on the image reads, "Ohio Watercolor Society. Watercolor Ohio 2020. 43rd Annual Juried Exhibition. On view through the month of May. Rollin Art Gallery 2021 Exhibit." The Piqua Public Library and Ohio Watercolor Society logos are in the bottom left corner of the sign.

The painting featured in our exhibit sign is "Golden Morning" by Kit Dailey.

We will be sharing photos of the exhibit on our social media channels -- but our photos will not do them justice! The paintings need to be seen in person to appreciate them fully.
